Our goal is to make our Horse Day Camp participants' experience one they will cherish for a lifetime. Safety is also one of our main priorities. Our mission is to teach children horse back riding skills, horse safety and build their confidence. We also want them to gain knowledge and skills when it comes to riding, caring for the horse, horsemanship, grooming, barn chores, as well as proper use of equipment (tack). Camp is available for participants 7-15 years of age.

Camp includes daily horse back riding lessons, English and Jumping, and anatomy.   BlueStar also offers games, and activities like sports, treasure hunts, afternoon swimming and so much more!

Camp Hours

BlueStar' primary day camp hours are from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Whether for great summer fun or possibly a long-term relationship with a horse, BlueStar Summer Horse Day Camp will prepare a camper with many important skills. BlueStar also offers Horsemanship classes, private lessons and group lessons. See our Lessons page for more information.

Enroll now for Holiday Camps at just $75 per day or less! Sessions are limited in number and by age. Camp is available for participants 7-15 years of age.

The following Holiday Camp Sessions Are Now Enrolling (ask us about multi-day and multi-camper discounts):  

• Summer Camp (August 4-8) - Space for 6 riders total.
• Labor Day (September 7)
• Thanksgiving Day (November 27)
• Christmas Special (December 21-23)

More About Horse Camp

Please DO Bring:

• Lunch
• Water Bottles & Other Drinks for the Day
• Sunscreen
• Riding Boots or Shoes with at least a ½" Heel! (This is a must! No sandals or open-toed shoes.)
• Any Necessary Medications Clearly Labeled
• Jeans or English Riding Pants Only (No Sweat Pants)
• Names Marked on Clothing, Lunchboxes, Helmet, Etc.
• Note:  BlueStar Will Supply Snacks

Please DO NOT Bring:

• Gum
• iPods, Gameboys or Other Electronic Entertainment Devices
• Jewelery
• Inappropriate Clothing
• Cursing or Foul Language
